So in the world of today: 
-Gas prices are set to drop.
-Health care rates for many Obamacare users have gone up.
-there were heavy storms and flooding across the country.
-a heat wave in India killed 400.
-foreign organizations deemed ‘undesirable’ by Russia could now be shut down at any time for any reason.
-Palestine is calling for a FIFA ban of Israeli football.
-The California oil spill is 20% contained.
-tens of thousands of mourners marched for victims in a Sunni mosque bombing.
- Andrzej Duda was elected president of Poland.
